It takes a very special person to work for the public service. We are here because we care about others and want to make a difference in our communities. At its core, being a public servant is about serving for our fellow Manitobans. This makes our work incredibly meaningful.
The standards we set for ourselves as public servants are high and for good reason. We are responsible for the public programs and services that people rely on and that allow our province to flourish. Everyday, we transform government directives into tangible actions and forge a brighter future for all Manitobans.
Manitoba is stronger because of the exceptional work of its public service. During this week, I encourage everyone to celebrate our collective and individual achievements. I hope you all feel proud of the work you do.
