Tuition Waiver Information Sessions
Hello!
Are you a current or former youth in Child and Family Services (CFS) care in Manitoba?
A service provider, case manager, or social worker working with youth in or from care?
A family member, foster parent, or caregiver?
A guidance counsellor, educator, or other student support?
We invite you to attend one of our Tuition Waiver Information Sessions! Our staff will explain the Tuition Waiver program, from eligibility and the application process to funding information and succeeding in the program.
Tuition Waivers are scholarships offered to current and former youth in care in Manitoba offered by 10 different universities and colleges, in partnership with Futures Forward. Tuition Waiver recipients can attend post-secondary school for an eligible program with tuition coverage, a monthly living allowance, and other financial supports. There is no age cap for the Tuition Waiver program!
This year, we’ll be hosting more frequent afternoon and evening virtual sessions for your convenience. Plus – stay tuned for more information about our in-person event to take place at the University of Manitoba on January 31!
