On behalf of the CEO of the General Child and Family Services Authority, Jay Rodgers, I am writing to let you know that all training sessions offered by the General Child and Family Services Authority are cancelled effective immediately until further notice.
As you know, the COVID-19 coronavirus has resulted in a number of large gatherings, including sports, entertainment and other public events, to be postponed or cancelled in order to help reduce spread of the virus.
The General Child and Family Services Authority is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all staff. In keeping with this commitment, and in light of recommendations from public health authorities on social distancing, Authority training sessions have been cancelled for now.
Training sessions will be appropriately re-scheduled when the COVID-19 situation eases and evolves. If you have any questions regarding the cancellation of training, please contact Terry Prociuk at 204-984-9656 or at terry.prociuk@gov.mb.ca.
