From the Children’s Aid Foundation–The Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada’s scholarship is an essential part of its Post-Secondary Education (PSE) Program in assisting youth transitioning out of care. Through the generosity of donors, over 6,800 grants have been provided directly to post-secondary students across the country since 1995. The Foundation Scholarship is opening again this week! Please let any young people you know who are attending College or University, have applied, or are intending to apply for post-secondary education for the 2023-24 academic year, to make an application on our website.

The deadline to apply is Monday, March 13, 2023. Supporting documentation (transcripts and confirmation of care letters, if required) must be received by the Foundation before Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Visit our website for the link to the application form, eligibility information, and answers to the most asked questions. We will start drop-in question sessions in February through till the deadline, please check the website for more information on upcoming dates and times.

Please note! Worker Reference Forms are no longer a requirement for any applicant. Young people who have not received supports from the Foundation in the past will need to submit a confirmation of care letter to confirm eligibility either with their application, or before the March 23, 2023 deadline. Applicants who need to submit a letter will be advised.
