In today’s message, I would like to offer my sincere wishes for a safe, happy and relaxing summer to all staff, supervisors and directors across the General Authority.
I know that this past year has been extremely challenging as we navigated the care of children and families in the unique situation posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. But I’m proud to say you faced these challenges with grace, creativity and perseverance.
Our resilience as an authority demonstrates not only the many ways you continued to connect with children and families during public health restrictions. As the pandemic continues to wane, we are looking toward the fall as a hopeful marker of at least a partial return to normal for our staff and the families and children we serve.
Once again, I wish everyone a great summer and hope you take some time to relax and reflect on all of the hard work you have undertaken over the past year.
